So what does the awesome Celebration Concert Tours staff do after flying from Washington DC to Waikiki the day before they welcome 80 of our best friends from First Baptist Woodstock with great friends Scott and Millie White and Johnny and Janet Hunt! Of course – we go to Duke‘s for dinner and have some hula pie! ALOHA!!!
Well – it’s a wrap! Spectacular ministry trip to Washington DC with great friend Dr. Randy Lind and The Singing Churchmen and Singing ChurchWomen and The Oklahoma Baptist Symphony Orchestra!
Concerts at Kennedy Center, World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Immanuel Bible Church with good friends David Jones and Roger McGee and their choirs, worship and praise service in the House of Representatives and Rotunda, lunch cruise around the Potomac, dinner in the Capitol Hill Club, A police escort through bumper to bumper traffic for all nine buses, World-Class sightseeing throughout all of DC!
These are some awesome, wonderful people…all 430 of them! Thanks for your ministry all over DC! To God be the glory!!! Now – on to Hawaii today with great friends Scott and Millie White and Pastor Johnny and Janet Hunt for Woodstock at Waikiki! ALOHA!!!
Awesome concert today at the World War II Memorial! Also – visited Arlington cemetery and saw the tomb of the unknown soldier, witnessed members of our group hang the wreath and saw the Kennedy gravesite. Had the unique privilege of having a police escort for all nine buses throughout the city of DC! God is good!
An extraordinary experience we will always remember at the great Kennedy Center last night with great friend, Dr. Randy Lind and the Oklahoma Singing Churchmen, Churchwomen, and the Oklahoma Baptist Symphony Orchestra! So great to have Congressman Steve Russell from Oklahoma with us as well! Ollie North’s presentation was powerful and geared toward the many veterans that were there in the concert hall!
Grateful to God for safe travels for 430 awesome, wonderful Oklahomans in the Singing Churchmen and Singing ChurchWomen of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Baptist Symphony Orchestra under the direction of great friend, Dr. Randy Lind!Incredible time of worship tonight in the rotunda and the House of Representatives and the Senate!
